Ares Commercial Real Estate (ACRE)

Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation is a New York-based real estate investment trust focused on commercial real estate finance in the United States. Through its specialty finance platform, the company originates and invests in commercial real estate loans and related assets for owners, operators, and sponsors of CRE properties. Its portfolio may include senior mortgage loans, subordinate debt, preferred equity investments, mezzanine loans, and certain other CRE-related investments, including commercial mortgage-backed securities. Incorporated in 2011, Ares Commercial Real Estate has elected to be taxed as a REIT for U.S. federal income tax purposes.
