Astronics Corporation is a NASDAQ-listed common stock of a company that designs and manufactures products for the aerospace, defense, and electronics industries. Through its subsidiaries, the company operates in two segments: Aerospace and Test Systems. The Aerospace business includes lighting and safety systems, electrical power generation and distribution systems, seat motion systems, aircraft structures, avionics products, and related certification services. Its customers include commercial transport, military, and general aviation aircraft manufacturers, suppliers to those manufacturers, aircraft operators, and parts of the U.S. Department of Defense. The Test Systems segment develops, manufactures, and maintains automated test systems and training and simulation devices for aerospace and defense, communications, and mass transit applications. Founded in 1968, Astronics is headquartered in East Aurora, New York, and serves customers in the United States and internationally.
