Axos Financial, Inc. is a U.S. consumer and business banking company listed on the NYSE under the symbol AX. Through its banking and securities operations, the company serves individuals and businesses with deposit products such as checking, savings, time deposits, and commercial deposits. Its lending activities include residential single-family, multifamily, and commercial mortgage loans, as well as commercial real estate-secured, commercial and industrial non-real estate, auto, and consumer loans. Axos also provides investment and wealth management-related services, including disclosed clearing, recordkeeping, trade reporting, reorganization assistance, margin lending, and securities lending. Founded in 1999 and based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company was previously known as BofI Holding, Inc. before adopting its current name in September 2018.
