Its products are marketed under brands such as Aqueon, Cadet, Comfort Zone, Farnam, Four Paws, K&H Pet Products, Kaytee, Nylabone, and Zilla. The Garden segment covers grass seed, flower, vegetable and herb seed packets, bird feed and feeders, fertilizers, live plants, decorative products, and weed, grass, insect, and pesticide control products, sold under brands including Amdro, Ferry-Morse, Pennington, and Sevin. The company serves independent distributors, retailers, eCommerce channels, grocery stores, nurseries, and mass merchants. Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, Central Garden & Pet Company focuses on household and outdoor consumables for the U.S. market.
