Cincinnati Financial Corporation is a U.S.-based insurance company specializing in property and casualty coverage. Through its five operating segments—Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Excess and Surplus Lines, Life Insurance, and Investments—the company serves a range of individual and business insurance needs. Its commercial offerings include casualty and property protection, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, surety and fidelity bonds, management liability, and machinery and equipment coverage. Personal lines include auto, homeowners, and other coverages such as dwelling fire, inland marine, umbrella liability, and watercraft insurance. The excess and surplus lines business provides commercial casualty and property protection for specialized risks. The life segment offers term, universal, and whole life insurance, along with annuities. In addition, Cincinnati Financial conducts investing activity and provides commercial leasing, financing, and insurance brokerage services. Founded in 1950 and headquartered in Fairfield, Ohio, the company’s common stock is listed on NASDAQ under the symbol CINF.
