Coherent Corp. is a common stock listed on the NYSE under the ticker COHR. The company develops, manufactures, and markets engineered materials, optoelectronic components and devices, and laser systems for customers in industrial, communications, electronics, and instrumentation markets around the world. Its operations are organized into three segments: Networking, Materials, and Lasers.

The Networking segment includes transceivers, modules, subsystems, optics, semiconductor devices, and related products for datacenter and communications applications. The Materials segment supplies engineered materials, laser optics, thermoelectric components, advanced ceramic and metal-matrix composite products, as well as several laser device types used in materials processing and integrated circuit applications. The Lasers segment provides excimer, solid-state, and CO2 laser systems for industrial, semiconductor capital equipment, display manufacturing, precision manufacturing, and scientific research uses. The company sells its products through direct sales, representatives, and distributors. Formerly known as II-VI Incorporated, it adopted the Coherent Corp. name in September 2022 and is headquartered in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
