Eli Lilly and Company is a U.S.-based pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, manufactures, and markets human medicines in the United States, Europe, China, Japan, and other international markets. Its portfolio spans cardiometabolic care, oncology, immunology, and neuroscience. Key products in cardiometabolic health include Basaglar, Humalog, Humulin, Jardiance, Mounjaro, Trulicity, and Zepbound. In oncology, the company markets therapies such as Cyramza, Erbitux, Inluriyo, Jaypirca, Retevmo, TYVYT, and Verzenio. Its immunology products include Ebglyss, Olumiant, Omvoh, and Taltz, while Emgality is used for migraine prevention and episodic cluster headache and Kisunla is indicated for symptomatic Alzheimer’s disease. Founded in 1876 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Eli Lilly maintains collaborations and licensing arrangements with several pharmaceutical partners, including Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche, Genentech, Almirall, and Chugai Pharmaceutical.
