Graham Holdings Company is a diversified holding company whose common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GHC. Through its subsidiaries, the company operates a broad mix of businesses in the United States and abroad. Its education-related operations include academic preparation for international students, professional training, postsecondary education services, English-language programs, exam preparation, and academic and career advisement, along with a sixth-form college serving students preparing for A-level examinations. The company also has interests in television broadcasting, restaurants, entertainment venues, social media management tools for newsrooms, healthcare services and software, commercial building products, electrical and lifting solutions, utility and industrial parts, vehicle dealerships and valet repair services, custom framing, marketing and data analytics software, publishing, audio subscription platforms, and art-related commerce and exhibitions. Formerly known as The Washington Post Company, it adopted its current name in 2013 and is based in Arlington, Virginia.
