Petrobras, through its NYSE-listed ADR, represents common stock depositary receipt exposure to Petróleo Brasileiro S.A., an integrated Brazilian energy company headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. The company is active in oil and gas exploration, production, refining, logistics, transportation, trading, and related energy activities in Brazil and abroad. Its operations are organized into three segments: Exploration and Production; Refining, Transportation and Marketing; and Gas and Low Carbon Energies. The exploration and production business focuses on crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas, while the refining and marketing segment covers refining, oil product trading, exports, fertilizers, and interests in petrochemical companies. The gas and low carbon unit includes natural gas and power logistics and trading, LNG transportation and trading, thermoelectric power generation, renewable and low-carbon initiatives, gas processing, and biodiesel production.
