Its business is organized into three segments: Texture & Healthful Solutions, Food & Industrial IngredientsLATAM, and Food & Industrial IngredientsU.S./Canada. Ingredion supplies starch and sweetener products to customers in food, beverage, and industrial applications worldwide, including uses in processed foods, paper, textiles, construction materials, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, mining, and water filtration. The company also produces refined corn oil, corn gluten feed, and corn gluten meal. Founded in 1906 and headquartered in Westchester, Illinois, the company was formerly known as Corn Products International, Inc. before adopting the Ingredion name in 2012.
