Louisiana-Pacific Corporation is an industrial building products company whose common shares trade on the NYSE under the ticker LPX. Through its subsidiaries, the company supplies materials used in new home construction, repair and remodeling, and outdoor structure applications across the United States, Canada, and South America. Its operations are organized into two segments: Siding and Oriented Strand Board (OSB). The Siding segment includes engineered wood siding, trim, soffit, fascia, and primed and pre-finished products such as LP SmartSide and related product lines. The OSB segment manufactures and distributes structural panel products, including several value-added offerings used for fire protection, weather resistance, radiant barriers, and sub-flooring. Louisiana-Pacific also has timber and timberlands operations, along with other minor products, services, and closed operations. The company was incorporated in 1972 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
