Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited is the issuer underlying the NYSE-listed TSM depositary receipt. Through itself and its subsidiaries, the company manufactures, packages, tests, and sells integrated circuits and other semiconductor devices across Taiwan and international markets, including China, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan, and the United States. Its wafer fabrication capabilities include CMOS logic, mixed-signal, radio frequency, embedded memory, and bipolar CMOS mixed-signal processes. The company also provides customer and engineering support, manufactures masks, invests in technology start-up companies, and conducts research, design, development, packaging, testing, and sale of color filters, alongside other investment activities. Its semiconductor products are used in high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things, automotive applications, and digital consumer electronics. Founded in 1987, the company is headquartered in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
