Endesa, S.A. is a Spanish electric utility group whose American depositary receipt trades on OTC Markets under the symbol ELEZY. The underlying company is active in the generation, distribution, and sale of electricity across Spain and several other countries, including Portugal, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Singapore, Italy, Morocco, and additional international markets. Its power portfolio includes hydroelectric, nuclear, thermal, wind, and solar generation.
Beyond core electricity operations, Endesa provides energy advisory and technology services, supports distributed generation and energy demand management, and develops charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, vehicle-to-grid applications, and battery second-life services. It also works on public lighting, smart city, connectivity, and other services for local administrations, while offering financial solutions for energy producers and engineering and construction services tied to the electricity business. Endesa was incorporated in 1944, is headquartered in Madrid, and is a subsidiary of Enel Iberia Srl.
