Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is a New York Stock Exchange-listed common stock of a materials company focused on industrial gases and related equipment. The company supplies atmospheric gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, along with process gases including hydrogen, helium, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and syngas. It also provides specialty gases used across industries such as refining, chemicals, metals, electronics, manufacturing, energy production, medical, food, oil and gas recovery and processing, and steel. In addition, Air Products designs and manufactures equipment for air separation, hydrocarbon recovery and purification, natural gas liquefaction, and the transport and storage of liquid helium and liquid hydrogen. Founded in 1940, the company is headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and operates across the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, India, and other international markets.
