PIMCO Access Income Fund (PAXS)
PIMCO Access Income Fund (NYSE: PAXS) is a closed-end investment fund managed by Pacific Investment Management Company LLC. As a U.S.-domiciled fund, it seeks exposure to fixed income markets across global regions and focuses on a diversified mix of credit and income-oriented securities. The portfolio may include corporate debt, mortgage-related and other asset-backed instruments, government and sovereign obligations, taxable municipal bonds, and floating-rate income-producing securities with a range of maturities. The fund uses both bottom-up and top-down analysis in selecting securities for its portfolio. Because it is a closed-end fund, PAXS is structured as a listed investment vehicle rather than an operating company.
