AMCON Distributing Company is a U.S. wholesale distributor and retailer of consumer products with operations in the Central, Rocky Mountain, and Mid-South regions. Through its Wholesale Distribution segment, the company supplies products such as tobacco items, confectionery, beverages, groceries, paper goods, health and beauty care products, frozen and refrigerated foods, and foodservice products to convenience stores, grocery outlets, drug stores, liquor stores, gas stations, and other institutional customers. It also markets selected private-label products, including water, candy, batteries, and related items. Its Retail Health Food segment focuses on natural, organic, and specialty foods, along with nutritional supplements, personal care products, and general merchandise, and includes stores operating under the Chamberlin’s Natural Foods, Akin’s Natural Foods, and Earth Origins Market names. Incorporated in 1986, AMCON Distributing Company is based in Omaha, Nebraska.
