Blackstone Secured Lending Fund (BXSL)
Blackstone Secured Lending Fund (NYSE: BXSL) is a closed-end investment fund organized as a Delaware statutory trust. The fund is externally managed and has elected to be regulated as a business development company under the Investment Company Act of 1940. It has also elected to be treated as a regulated investment company for U.S. federal income tax purposes and seeks to maintain that status. BXSL’s stated objectives are to generate current income and, to a lesser extent, long-term capital appreciation. Its investment approach focuses primarily on originated loans and related securities of private U.S. small and middle market companies, with an emphasis on first lien senior secured and unitranche loans, and may also include second lien, third lien, unsecured and subordinated loans, as well as other debt and equity securities.
