Cabot Corporation is a New York Stock Exchange-listed common equity of a materials company focused on specialty chemicals and performance materials. The company operates through two segments, Reinforcement Materials and Performance Chemicals, and develops products used across a range of industrial and consumer applications. Its portfolio includes reinforcing carbons for tires and other rubber products, engineered elastomer composites, specialty carbons, conductive additives, fumed silica, fumed alumina, aerogel, masterbatch and conductive compounds, inkjet colorants, carbon nanotubes, and fumed metal oxides. Cabot serves customers in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific through distributors and sales representatives. Founded in 1882, the company is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
