In addition, it produces carbon-related materials including creosote, carbon pitch, naphthalene, and carbon black feedstock. The company serves customers in railroad, utility, residential lumber, agriculture, aluminum, steel, rubber, and construction markets, with operations in the United States, Australasia, Europe, and other international regions. It was founded in 1988 and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
