Northeast Community Bancorp Inc. is the holding company for NorthEast Community Bank, a New York-based community banking organization listed on NASDAQ under the ticker NECB. Through its bank subsidiary, the company serves individuals and businesses with a range of deposit products, including checking, savings, money market, demand, and certificate of deposit accounts. Its lending activities include construction, commercial and industrial, multifamily, mixed-use real estate, non-residential real estate, and consumer loans. The company also maintains a portfolio of liquid investments, such as U.S. Treasury obligations, municipal securities, agency securities, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York deposits, and certificates of deposit issued by federally insured institutions. In addition, it provides life insurance products and fixed-rate annuities. Founded in 1934 and headquartered in White Plains, New York, Northeast Community Bancorp operates full-service branches in parts of New York and Massachusetts, along with loan production offices in White Plains and New City, New York, and Danvers, Massachusetts.
