Prudential Financial, Inc. is a U.S.-based financial services company whose operations span the United States, Japan, and other international markets. Through its subsidiaries, the company serves individual and institutional clients with products and services across asset management, retirement, insurance, and related financial solutions. Its PGIM segment provides investment management across public fixed income, public equity, real estate debt and equity, private credit, alternatives, and multi-asset strategies. The Retirement Strategies business offers retirement income and investment products, including annuities and reinsurance-related solutions. Prudential also operates Group Insurance, which includes life, disability, and supplemental health coverage, as well as Individual Life and International Businesses, which focus on life insurance, retirement, investment, and certain accident and health products. Founded in 1875, Prudential Financial is headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
