InflaRx N.V. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing C5a-based inhibitors for autoimmune and other inflammatory diseases. Headquartered in Jena, Germany, with activities in both Germany and the United States, the company was founded in 2007 and previously operated as Fireman B.V. before adopting its current name in 2017. Its lead candidate, vilobelimab, is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody targeting human complement factor C5a and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for early septic organ dysfunction. The company’s pipeline also includes izicopan, an oral low-molecular-weight C5aR inhibitor that has completed Phase 2a testing, and IFX002, a preclinical follow-on program for chronic inflammatory indications. InflaRx has also entered collaboration arrangements with Staidson (Beijing) BioPharmaceuticals, Catalent Pharma Solutions, and U.S. government and clinical research partners.
