Moog Inc. is a U.S.-based industrial and technology company that designs, manufactures, and integrates precision motion control and fluid control systems for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers in the United States, Germany, and other international markets. Its business is organized into four segments: Space and Defense, Military Aircraft, Commercial Aircraft, and Industrial. The Space and Defense segment supplies motion-control systems and related components for defense vehicle platforms, missile systems, naval vessels, submarines, and space launch vehicles, satellites, and spacecraft. The Military Aircraft segment focuses on flight control and actuation systems for military fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft, while the Commercial Aircraft segment serves commercial aircraft platforms including widebody, narrowbody, business jet, and regional jet programs. The Industrial segment provides customized motion-control solutions for automation, medical, simulation, test, and energy applications. Founded in 1951 and headquartered in East Aurora, New York, Moog was formerly known as Moog Valve Company.
