RTX Corporation is an aerospace and defense company headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. The company serves commercial, military, and government customers around the world through three operating segments: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. Collins Aerospace develops and supplies aircraft systems and aftermarket support across civil and military aviation, including power management, environmental control, flight control, sensing, cabin interiors, connected aviation solutions, and training and simulation systems. Pratt & Whitney focuses on aircraft engines for commercial, military, business jet, and general aviation applications, along with auxiliary power units and maintenance, repair, overhaul, and fleet support services. Raytheon provides defense-related technologies and software, including sensors, mission orchestration, satellite control products, and capabilities for threat detection and mitigation. The company was incorporated in 1934 and adopted the RTX Corporation name in July 2023.
