Tyson Foods Inc. is a U.S.-based food company listed on the NYSE under the ticker TSN. Operating as common equity, the company’s business is organized into four segments: Beef, Pork, Chicken, and Prepared Foods. Its operations include processing cattle and hogs, fabricating beef and pork into various cuts and case-ready products, and raising and processing chickens into fresh, frozen, and value-added items such as breaded chicken products and fully cooked parts. Tyson also manufactures and markets a broad range of frozen and refrigerated foods under brands including Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Ball Park, Wright, Aidells, Gallo Salame, ibp, and State Fair. The company sells through grocery and wholesale channels, warehouse clubs, foodservice customers, distributors, and export markets. Founded in 1935, Tyson Foods is headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas.
