Through its subsidiaries, the company focuses on acquiring, exploring, and advancing mineral properties in Mexico, with exploration work centered on silver, gold, copper, and other base metal deposits. Its principal asset is a 100% owned interest in the Avino Mine area property in Durango, Mexico, which spans about 4,086.93 hectares and includes 42 mineral claims, along with leases for four additional claims. The company also holds options to acquire full interests in the Ana Maria and El Laberinto properties in Mexico. Founded in 1968, the business was previously known as International Avino Mines Ltd. before adopting its current name in 1997.
