Sunoco LP is a limited partnership listed on the NYSE under the ticker SUN. Through its subsidiaries, the partnership is active in energy infrastructure and motor fuels distribution in the United States. Its operations are organized across four segments: Fuel Distribution, Pipeline Systems, Refinery, and Terminals. The Fuel Distribution segment handles the distribution of motor fuels and related petroleum products, including propane and lubricating oil, to dealers, distributors, independent operators, commercial customers, and retail locations, while also leasing real estate and providing non-fuel offerings such as merchandise, food service, credit card processing, car washes, and lottery services. The Pipeline Systems segment operates an integrated network of refined product, crude oil, and ammonia pipelines and terminals. The Terminals segment includes transmix processing facilities and refined product terminals, along with blending, additive injection, handling, and filtering services. The partnership was founded in 1960, is based in Dallas, Texas, and was previously known as Susser Petroleum Partners LP before adopting its current name in 2014.
