Its operations are organized into three segments: Exploration and Production, Marketing, and an Equity Method Investment in Antero Midstream. Antero Resources reported that, as of December 31, 2025, it held about 537,000 net acres in the Appalachian Basin and roughly 168,000 net acres in the Upper Devonian Shale. The company also has gathering and compression infrastructure that includes 731 miles of gas gathering pipelines in the Appalachian Basin. Founded in 2002, the company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and was previously known as Antero Resources Appalachian Corporation before adopting its current name in 2013.
