Denison Mines Corp. is a Toronto-based company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of uranium-bearing properties in Canada. Its principal asset is a 95% interest in the Wheeler River uranium project, located in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan. The company was established in 1954 and operated previously under the name International Uranium Corporation before adopting its current name in December 2006.
